UPL: URA FC Wins as KCCA, SC Villa Come From Behind to Register Draws
New comers Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA) shall have to wait for their first premier league win after a 3-2 defeat to visitors URA FC at King George IV Stadium in Tororo.
Forward Cromwel Rwothomio scored a hat-trick for Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) who bounced back from a recent 2-1 defeat against Wasswa Bbosa’s charges Express FC.
Norman Ojik and Ibra Nsimbe’s goals were not enough for MYDA to register a point in this tie. Substitute Salim Abdallah pulled a goal back for SC Villa in the 53rd minute before he scored a heartbreaking equalizer in the added.
At Wankulukuku, hosts Express FC through striker Eric Kambale almost inflicted a 4th straight loss to the 13 time league champions KCCA FC. However, forward Charles Lwanga’s late header leveled matters as the Kampala Derby ended 1-1.
