Wakiso Giants will be targeting return to the winning ways when they host the Jogoos on Wednesday.

The Purple Sharks enter this game after losing their previous game 2-1 against Onduparaka.

The record champions meanwhile are currently two points above the drop and fighting for their survival.

However, Gitta who witnessed his side fail to overcome an equally struggling Onduparaka doesn’t believe SC Villa are strugglers.

“Regardless of what is happening there, for us we take the game as one against a giant club not only in Ugandan football but on the continent,” he said.

“The mentality of the lads is that we have a tough game against a very good side and must do everything right if we are to get all three points which is our target especially when we play at home.”

“We recognise that we are coming from 1-2 loss to Onduparaka but by the time we played them, we had played close to five games in a space of 15 days which brought in fatigue but we have recovered well.”

Joshua Lubwama is suspended after getting booked in the previous game accumulating three yellow cards.

Ibrahim Kasule is doubtful is a muscle pain and so is Tom Masiko who also missed the previous game due to malaria.

This will be the fourth time for both sides to meet with SC Villa winning once, Wakiso Giants have also won once and the two sides drew once.

The last meeting at Kavumba ended in a 3-1 win for us with Ssematimba and Aliro on the score sheet.
