Express FC wrapped up 2021 calender league year in style with a resounding 4-0 win over Busoga United FC on Tuesday afternoon at the Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.

George Senkaaba opened the scores, Erick Kambale scored twice and Yaya Mahad scored the other goal as Express FC cruised to victory.

“We’ve managed to win our last home league game of the season and I am grateful to the boys for the effort because the most important thing is to close the gap on the table leaders,” Bbosa said.

“We got many chances but converted four and for me it’s a better improvement from the previous games. Last season we ended the first round on 29 points, our target remains to get those points or even better,” he added.

The win took the Red Eagles to fourth position on 23 points after 13 league games played.

Next up for Wasswa Bbosa’s charges is an away trip to struggling Tooro United on Tuesday January 4th 2022.
