The six-time Uganda Premier League champions, Express FC have signed Uganda Cranes defender, Murushid Jjuuko on a one year deal, sources revealed to this website.

Before joining the Wankulukuku based side, Jjuuko was on reigning champions, Vipers a d 13-time league champions, KCCA FC ladder but he snubbed them and joined Wasswa Bbosa at Express.

The Cranes mainstay, did not have a sweet relationship with the Moroccan giants, Wydad Casablanca, the side he joined in 2019 and later was released.

The 26-year old Jjuuko who is expected to bring with varsity of  experience at Wankulukuku, had most of his professional life with the Tanzanian giants, Simba SC, he stayed with the side for five years, from 2014 to 2019 where he won two league trophies with them.

The sources also indicate that the current club CEO, Issac Mwesigwa engineered the move.

According to clauses in a one year contract, Jjuuko will be free to move within the the season if he gets a better deal.
