Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and Uganda Martyrs High School – Lubaga will face off in the girls football final of this year’s Buganda Schools Sports competitions.

The highly anticipated tie will be held on Saturday, the 16th March 2024 at Kawanda Secondary School Grounds in Wakiso City.

After leading group A, Kawempe eliminated it’s junior side Kawempe B by 3-0 in the semi-finals to reach the final.

Agnes Nabukenya scored a brace and a goal from Shadia Nabirye as the senior side saw off the juniors in a comfortable win.

Meanwhile, the free scoring Uganda Martyrs High School beat Caltec Academy – Makerere 1-0 in the semi-final to book a final date with Kawempe Muslim.

Skipper Immaculate Nakanjako scored the only goal of the tie as the Lubaga based Uganda Martyrs sealed a final slot.

Uganda Martyrs lead group B with a 100% winning record, including their 20-00 massacre against St. Joseph Nsambya.

Buganda Premier Charles Peter Mayiga together with other Kingdom dignitaries will grace the finals at Kawanda Secondary School Grounds on Saturday, the 16th March.
