Mike Sulaiman Mutyaba appointed new STAHIZA head coach

Standard High School – Zaana (STAHIZA) have announced Mike Mutyaba “aka” Sulaiman Mutyaba as their new head coach.

The former Uganda Cranes and KCCA FC midfielder replaces former Uganda Cranes left back Nestroy Kizito who recently joined neighbors St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana in the same role.

The Ugandan retired professional footballer usually played as an attacking midfielder on the left however he had the ability to play effectively on the right or upfront.

Mutyaba’s first task at hand is to guide the school through the Wakiso qualifiers to Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Nationals.

His other task is to take back the school to Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games in 2024.

Mutyaba has previously been assistant coach to Simon Peter Mugerwa at Buddu in this year’s Buganda Masaza Cup.

He featured for TP Mazembe in DR. Congo, Express FC, KCCA FC and Vipers SC.

He also played for the Uganda U-20 (Hippos) team, U-23 side (Kobs) and the senior team national side (Uganda Cranes).
