FWSL: Grace Aluka shines as Olila edge Isra soccer academy

The U-17 Women National team defender Grace Aluka shines as she nets a brace to help her team win their first game in the league.

The versatile defender who is deployed in the midfield at the club, opened her account in the early minutes of the game after converting from the spot to put her team in the lead.

In the 26th minutes, Aarakit Docus doubled the lead for Olila

Olila H/S still kept pressing Isra but the first stanza ended 2-0.

Second half resumed and Isra started building something but they lacked creativity to penetrate the opponents.

In the last minutes of the game, Grace Aluka headed in the third and her second on the day.

Olila win gave them hope to stay focused to make it to the Semifinals if other teams fail to get maximum points in the remaining games.

Tomorrow will be a resting day for all teams and the action will resume on Friday as UCU play Isra soccer academy and Lady Doves play against She Corporates.

The top two teams in the group will automatically qualify for Semifinals and the group B leaders will play Uganda Martyrs LWFC and the second team will face Kawempe muslim Ladies Fc on 3rd May 2021.

The champion of Fufa Women Super League 2020/21 season will represent Uganda in Cecafa qualifiers.
