Emphatic day one wins for St. Noa, Kitende, Buddo, Kawanda, Greenlight

The 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games II (FEASSSA Qualifiers) have today Wednesday, the 10th July threw off at Teso College Aleot in Soroti.

Giant Netball playing schools St. Noa Girls-Zana, Buddo SS, St. Mary’s – Kitende and Kawanda SS registered emphatic wins on day one.

Reigning champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende convincingly won 40-09 against Luweero based Light College Katikamu in their opener.

Another Wakiso giants who are also last year’s first runners St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana beat High Standard Kateera 35-12 in the days closing tie.

Meanwhile, Kawanda SS powered past Mbarara Army in a 47-04 win, whilst, Buddo SS white washed Ngora 53-03.

In the other day’s results, Kampala regional representatives Kibuli SS beat Kakungulu Memorial 26-11.

Green Light Islamic of Nansana won Iganga 38-13 as Kawempe Muslim registered a slim 24-22 contested win.

The shocking result of day one was Hadan’s slim 19-18 win over Kajjansi Progressive.
