COSAFA Women’s Championship: Crested Cranes knocked out by Zambia
The Uganda Cranes dreams of making it out of the 2021 COSAFA Women’s Championship group stages have been halted after losing to Zambia.
Zambia skipper Grace Chanda scored the lone strike to send Uganda packing in the last game of group C played at the Nelson Bay Stadium in South Africa.
Although Chanda’s goal came in the 37th minute of the game after she set up by her striking partner Ochumba Lubandji, Uganda failed to equalise following disciplined defending from Zambia.
