Alfred Leku parts ways with Zambian Giants Zesco United
Ugandan striker Alfred Leku is among the six players that have been released by Zambian Giants Zesco United.
Leku rejoined Zesco United six months back and signed an employment contract of one year
He has been released together with defender Fackson Kapumbu and midfielder Austin Muwowo.
The other leaving the Zambian Giants are Peter Maker Manyang, Chitiya Mususu and Rodrick Khembo.
The club appreciated the players released towards the development of the club,
“Zesco United management has thanked the six players for their contribution towards the growth of the team.”
Leku in the past played for Express FC, Vipers SC, Onduparaka and Arua Hill SC.
He also featured for Extension Gunners and Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana.
Zeaco United FC is based in Ndola in Zambia and host their games at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
They will play Nkwazi in their next game on Saturday 21st January home.
