FUFA Women Super League: Kawempe Muslim held as Kampala Queens secure first win

Kamempe Muslim Ladies and Tooro Queens have played for a 1-all draw in match-day three of the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League season.

The game played at Kawempe Muslim valley grounds ended in a 1-all stalemate to continue Kawempe Muslim’s winless streak to two.

Imelda Kasemire sent visitors Toooro Queens into the lead in 34 minutes before Hadija Nandago levelled matters early into the second stanza in the 58th minute.

Tooro Queens have now gathered three points in three games to consolidate the 7th position while Kawempe Muslim moved to four to settle in the 4th place on the log.

Elsewhere, former Kawempe Muslim forward Margret Kunihira scored in 58 minutes to inspire Kampala Queens to the first season win against She Maroons at Prison grounds in Luzira.

Kampala Queens lost their opener 2-0 to Kawempe Muslim before a goalless draw against Tooro Queens in the second tie.

The win moves Kampala Queens to the 4th place on four points as She Maroons occupies the red zone in 9th position.
Uganda martyrs Lubaga Olira.

On the same day, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga beat Olira 2-1 at Lubaga. Esther Naluyimba and Brenda Munyana scored for Uganda Martyrs.

The win moved the to the 3rd rank on six points whilst, Olira is 6th with three points.
