St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana thrash PSBB Huye in FEASSA Games opener

In a thrilling display, reigning champions St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana kicked off their FEASSA Games campaign with a resounding 6-0 victory over Rwanda’s PSBB Huye.

The Zana-based giants dominated the match from start to finish, with Patricia Nayiga scoring a brace and Sylvia Kabene, Esther Babirye, Mary Ayugi, and Imelda Kasemire adding to the tally.

Patricia Nayiga opened the scoring, followed by goals from Sylvia Kabene, Esther Babirye, and Mary Ayugi, sealing a 4-0 lead at halftime.

Nayiga scored her second goal in the second half, while substitute Imelda Kasemire added the final touch to seal a convincing 6-0 win for the defending champions.

Kawempe Muslim and Madira Girls High School played out a goalless draw, with Kawempe Muslim’s Kevin Nanyunja receiving a red card in the 81st minute.

Bishop Njenga emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Boni-Consili while Amus College School shared points with Kenya’s national champions Butere Girls.

The FEASSA Games are shaping up to be an exciting tournament, with top teams vying for supremacy in various sports disciplines.
