Vipers SC summons Alex Isabirye to disciplinary committee for absconding duties
Uganda Premier League champions and Stanbic Uganda Cup holders Vipers SC have summoned their head coach Alex Isabirye Musongolo for failing to turn up for club duties
In a document signed by the Club Chief Executive Officer Simon Peter Njuba it reveals Isabirye has not reported for club duties since 15th July
He is required to report and face the Displinary Committee on Thursday 14th July at 10:00am,
“That where as you are by contract dated 9/03/2023 employed as the head coach of Vipers SC on such terms and conditions contained in the same and subject to the employment act laws of Uganda.”
“You have consistently and without authority from your employer, absconded from your work and duties as head coach since 5th/07/2023.”
“That despite a formal request from your immediate supervisor dated 07/07/2023, you have still failed to report for work which actions have negatively impacted the Team’s preparations and trainings.”
So be hereby informed that in line with the applicable labour laws, you are invited for a disciplinary hearing on Thursday 14th July 2023 at St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende Executive Lounge, 10:00AM
Please endeavor to keep time and appear in person.”
Isabirye won both the Uganda Cup and Stanbic Uganda Cup for Vipers SC and they will play in the CAF Champions League
