USSSA National Girls Football: St. Noa, Kawempe Muslim, Amus, Boni Consilii set for semi-final showdown

The 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games I girls football tournament has reached the semifinal stage, featuring four top teams: St. Noa Girls Zana, holders Kawempe Muslim SS, Boni-Consili Vocational, and Amus College.
In the quarterfinals, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana dominated Nkoma SS 5-1, with Sylvia Kabene and Sumaya Nalumu scoring braces and Winnie Kabowe adding another goal.
St. Noa had earlier thumped Hopeful Future 4-0 in the round of 16 to reach quarter-finals.
Sylvia Kabene scored a brace and a goal from Patricia Nayiga and Esther Babirye each propelled St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana to quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, defending champions Kawempe Muslim SS edged out Uganda Martyrs High School 2-1, with Agnes Nabukenya scoring to extend her tally to 13 goals in the tournament.
Brenda Nankya scored the second goal for Kawempe while Shivon Atuhaire pulled one back for Uganda Martyrs High School – Lubaga.
Amus College School convincingly beat Nyabibare Girls SS 3-0, while Boni Consilli Girls Vocational School thumped Standard High School Zana 3-0.
The semifinal fixtures are set for Monday, May 12, 2025, with St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana facing Boni Consilli Girls Vocational and Kawempe Muslim SS taking on Amus College.
The final match will be played on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
