St. Noa Girls has emerged victorious in the 2025 USSSA Girls Football tournament, defeating Amus College School in a nail-biting penalty shootout.

After a 1-1 draw in normal time, St. Noa won 5-3 in the penalty shootout, claiming their second USSSA National Girls Football title.

Sylvia Kabene gave St. Noa an early lead with a clinical finish, but Amus College equalized in the second half through Eunice Nabwoba.

Despite both teams creating chances, the match remained deadlocked, forcing the game into penalties.

In the penalty shootout, both sides netted their first three spot-kicks, but St. Noa scored the fourth while Amus missed theirs, paving the way for St. Noa’s victory.

This win marks a sweet revenge for St. Noa, who lost to Amus College in the 2023 final.

The technical team and fans erupted into jubilant celebrations following the victory. St. Noa’s triumph marks their second USSSA National Girls Football title, following their maiden win in 2022 in Gulu.

In the classification game, Boni Consilii beat record champions Kawempe Muslim on penalties to claim the bronze medal.

As a result of their impressive performances, St. Noa Girls, Amus College School, Boni Consilii, and Kawempe Muslim will represent Uganda in the 2025 FEASSSA games.

Individual awards were also handed out, with Docus Kisakye named MVP, Agnes Nabukenya top scorer with 15 goals, Lillian Nakirya best goalkeeper, and Lammenais Col. Kyotera awarded the fair play prize.
