URA FC captain Shafik Kagimu reveals players preparedness for Ethiopia’s Coffee encounter.

After their first training session at Bahir Dar International Stadium in Ethiopia this, the tax collectors’ skipper Shafik Kagimu revealed players preparedness for Ethiopia’s Coffee encounter this Sunday.

“We thank Allah the most merciful that we traveled and touched ground well.

As players, we are getting prepare for the Sunday encounter and that’s where our focus is.

We must be flexible to get used to the weather and foods here and so far so good.” Kagimu.

The tax collectors have had their first training session at the Bahir Dar International Stadium outside pitch this evening as the continue to fine tune the players ahead of the Sunday tie.

URA FC left Entebbe International airport on Thursday, 16 September 2021 at 2:45am and touched base at Bahir Dar airport at 8am today after revealing the squad that will be used for their CAF Confederation Cup encounter against Ethiopian Coffee a day before.

The Tax collectors who touched down in Ethiopia on Friday will lock horns with Ethiopian Coffee on Sunday September 19th as they target the next round of the tournament.

URA FC enter this game with a 2-1 lead from the first leg meaning that they will need a draw from Sunday’s game.

Steven Desse Mukwala scored two first half goals as the tax collectors managed to beat the Ethiopian side 2-1 last Sunday at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

Meanwhile, Ethiopian Coffee needs a 1-0 win from this encounter if they are to progress to the next round.

The winner between URA FC and Ethiopian Coffee will face Egyptian El Massry in the second preliminary round fixture.
