UPL: Police, SC Villa settle for a goalless draw
Police FC had to fight hard to secure a point against SC Villa after the two sides settled for a two-all stalemate in a Uganda premier league game played at the Bombo Barracks on Saturday.
Forwards Muhammad Ssenoga and Goffin Oyirwoth were all on target for the hosts in the first half.
Johnson Odongo converted from the penalty mark in the first half before Kisekka’s early second half goal cancelled out SC Villa’s lead.
SC Villa had their midfielder Emmanuel Wasswa play centre back due to their captain Asuman Harishe’s suspension.
A draw left Police 4th on the log with 24 points from 12 games while SC Villa sits in 6th with 19 points from 12 games.
Villa play away to Vipers SC on match day 13 while Police will host URA FC.
