The betPawa Futsal Super League (FSL) continued to deliver thrilling matches, with Park FC staging an incredible comeback to deny Mengo City a crucial historic win in their Matchday 12 game at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Friday.

The match ended in a 3-3 draw after a late equalizer by Michael Abura.

Mengo City had taken a commanding 2-0 lead at the break, thanks to goals from Sharifu Opuuli and Samuel Omara.

However, Park FC refused to give up and fought back with determination and skill in the second half.

Joshua Aziku scored once for Park FC, before Michael Abura took center stage with a double, including the late equalizer.

The draw means that Park FC remain at the top of the betPawa FSL table, while Mengo City are still in second place.

The result will be a disappointment for Mengo City, who had been hoping to close the gap on their rivals.

However, the point earned by Park FC will be a welcome relief for the league leaders, who had been facing a potentially daunting deficit.

In other news, Crown Lubiri’s struggles continued after they were smashed 5-0 by Kisugu FC, courtesy of Ali Miti Kayondo’s hat-trick.

Kabowa held on to defeat Edgars Youth Programme 6-3, while Ilyas Omran helped Kisenyi FC return to winning ways by beating QC Mbarara 4-1.

Isa Kisule was the star of the show for Nansana ASKA, scoring a hat-trick to help his team displace Grameen 5-1.

The betPawa FSL is shaping up to be one of the most competitive and exciting in recent memory, and fans will be eagerly anticipating the next round of fixtures.

Will Park FC continue to lead the way, or will Mengo City finally close the gap? Only time will tell.
