
The 2025 FEASSA Games draws set for tomorrow
The 22nd Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Associations (FEASSA) Games are just around the corner, and the excitement is building up.

The draws for the tournament will take place on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the USSSA National Offices, GNS Plaza, Old Kampala.
This year’s edition promises to be an electrifying event, with over 16 disciplines and six countries confirmed to participate.
The FEASSA Games will feature a wide range of sports, including soccer, netball, volleyball, basketball, rugby, handball, hockey, cricket, table tennis, lawn tennis, chess, scrabble, lacrosse, and badminton.
The games will be held in various venues across Kakamega, Kenya, with each discipline having its designated venue.
Kenya, the host country, will hope to break Uganda’s grip on FEASSA titles, especially in netball, boys football and girls’ soccer.
Uganda has been a dominant force in the tournament, and Kenya’s schools will be looking to upset the favorites and claim their own share of glory.
The FEASSA Games 2025 will attract teams from six countries, including hosts Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda, Zanzibar, and South Sudan.
The tournament promises to be a showcase of the region’s best school sports teams, with athletes competing for regional supremacy, bragging rights, and sporting legacy.
The games will be held in various venues across Kakamega, with each discipline having its designated venue.

– Football: Mukumu Boys, Kakamega High, Kakamega Rehab, and Bukhungu Stadium
– Volleyball, Handball, Hockey, Netball, Table Tennis, Cricket, Badminton, Chess, and Scrabble: MMUST
– Basketball 3×3 and Lacrosse: Kakamega High School
– Basketball 5×5: Police Canteen
– Rugby: Bull Ring Rugby Grounds
– Athletics: Bukhungu and Mumias Sports Complex
– Swimming: St. Peters Primary, Mumias
– Lawn Tennis: Kakamega High School
Uganda will look forward to winning a straight 5th back to back overal title.
