KCCA FC

KCCA FC’s dream of winning the Stanbic Uganda Cup this season was brought to a premature end after losing 1-0 against Soltilo Bright Stars at MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

Marvin Youngman created the difference between the two sides as he scored the only goal of the game on Friday evening.

KCCA FC entered with the aim of making to the next round as their head coach Morley Byekwaso claimed that their target this season was to win both the league and Uganda Cup.

But when Marvin Youngman shot in from close range after being set up by Ibrahim Kasinde in the 10th minute, KCCA FC never recovered and they exited the tournament at the round of 32.

The defeat also means that KCCA FC’s hopes for silverware this season remains in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League where they are second on the log.
