Lacing Up for a Cause: 2025 Corporate Run proceeds to supports expectant mothers

On Sunday, October 12th, the NEC Grounds in Bugolobi will play host to a unique event that combines athleticism with altruism.

The 3rd edition of the Corporate Run, organized by Corporate Games Uganda in partnership with NBS, will see participants lace up for a noble cause – supporting expectant mothers.

Themed “Run for Expectant Mothers,” the event aims to raise 3000 mama kits, which will be donated to a Health Center III in the Central and Western regions.

The run will also raise awareness about maternal complications during pregnancy and birth.

All proceeds from the event will go toward providing mama kits for expectant mothers, making it a truly charitable endeavor.

The Corporate Run offers a platform for corporate teams to engage in a meaningful cause while promoting team-building and sportsmanship.

Participants can choose from three race categories: a 2 km networking run, a 5 km race, or a 10 km challenge.

The event promises to be an exciting and fulfilling experience, with all runs starting and finishing at the NEC Grounds.

For those who wish to contribute to the cause, mama kits can be donated at a cost of UGX 50,000 each.

Donations can be made via a link that will be provided or at Black Life shop at Forest Mall and NBS in Naguru.

Next Media, through its NBS Sport brand, will broadcast the run live, allowing a wider audience to participate in the event and witness the impact of corporate engagement in sports for a meaningful cause.

The Corporate Run is a testament to the power of sports in driving positive change and supporting social causes.

By participating in the event, individuals and corporate teams can make a tangible difference in the lives of expectant mothers.
