Adadi Mutumba Heroics secure Busiro third place
Experienced custodian Mutumba Adadi saved Bulemeezi’s Ssebyondya penalty as his side secured a third place in the 2020 Masaza Cup edition.
The classification match between the two 2019 finalists was played at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende on Saturday 6th March 2021.
Mutumba who initially during the normal time of play made a couple of saves marked Ssebyondya wrong as Busiro won 5-4 in spot kicks.
The 2019 runners up Busiro lost a semi-final tie to Gomba 5-4 to drop their title hopes, whilst Bulemeezi lost slimly (1-0) to all time champions Gomba.
Gomba and Buddu will shortly lock horns in the final to determine this year’s winner.
The Buganda premier Charles Peter Mayiga will grace the final on the behalf of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi Kimera.
