In a quest to retain the title, defending champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende have intensified preparations ahead of the 21st Federation of East African Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games.

The FEASSA Games are scheduled for 16th – 24th August 2024 at Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School in Bukedea.

This ending week, Kitende has had two trial games against Police FC and Maroons FC to help them to fine tune their players.

The school boys won 3-0 against the Luzira warders at Luzira on Thursday, the 8th August.

Hit-man Denis Kisiriko, Vincent Ayebale, and Santos Agok were on target for St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School as the later registered a signature triumph.

Yesterday’s 3-0 win follows a decisive 2-0 victory over Police Football Club. This match was held at Kisubi University grounds on Wednesday, the 7th August.

Gigantic forward Denis Kisiriko netted a brace as Kitende saw off Police FC.

Kitende won last year’s edition beating Amus College School – Bukedea when they held their nerves to register a 4-2 penalty shoot victory against Amus College in Huye, Rwanda.

Lanky forward Fazil Tumwine placed Kitende in the lead in the ninth minute off a rebounder from a close range.

Allan Oyirwoth levelled matters in the 27th minute to restore Amus College’s hope with a spectacular finish.

Both sides failed to change the score board in normal time and the centre referee sent them into decisive spot-kicks.

Derrick Kato, Johnson Kabagambe, Ronald Madoi and Rogers Torach scored for Kitende at the 12-yard mark.

Amos Ayikobua and Allan Oyirwoth converted their penalties for Amus College while Brian Toto and Shafick Wassagwa failed to find the back of the net.
