Done Deal: Express Signs Forward From South Africa

Express Football Club confirmed the signing of lanky forward from South African outfit Alexandria Football Club.
The 19-year old Mustafa Kiragga signed a two-year employment contract that will keep him at Wankulukuku until 2022.
“Express FC are delighted to announce the capture of forward Mustapha Kiragga.”
The 19 year old joins the Red Eagles from Alexandria FCin South Africa and has signed a two year deal. His arrival is a huge addition to the striking force and hopes to score as many goals to help the team finish in a better position.” A statement on club website reads.
The Club’s fifth signing of the season after commiting his future at the Red Eagles, expressed his gratitude for joining the side.
“I am happy to be a Red Eagle” Mustafa said before adding.
“As a striker, my target is to score as many goals and also help the team perform well.” Kiragga told the club website after inking his deal.
The rated lanky pacey forward becomes Wasswa Bossa’s fifth signing but the club’s first forward to be signed by the club.
Express FC managed 30 goals last season with forward Frank Kalanda topping the club charts on 11 goals across all competitions and it’s expected Mustafa Kiragga’s arrival will offer more options to the forward line next season.
The Uganda Premier League is expected to resume on 17th October 2020 pending clearance from the ministry of health and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
