In a remarkable display of corporate social responsibility, the 12 clubs participating in the Betpawa Futsal Super League have collectively donated a substantial quantity of sanitary pads to the Miss Tourism Mawokota (MTM) Foundation.

This generous contribution aims to bolster the foundation’s efforts in promoting menstrual hygiene management, safety, and awareness among vulnerable girls in Mawokota county.

The donated pads will be distributed to the Kyewanise Village, Kituuntu Sub-County in Mpigi district, where they will provide essential support to girls in need.

This initiative is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 26th, 2025, and will include educational sessions on menstrual health, hygiene, and self-care.

Over 10,000 pads will be donated to the vulnerable girl child in Kyewanise Village, Kituuntu Sub-County on Sunday.

The MTM Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to the well-being of girls and women in Mawokota county, was officially launched in October 2024.

The foundation envisions a world where every girl can access education, healthcare, and essential resources without facing unnecessary barriers or stigma during menstruation.

By advocating for the distribution of free sanitary pads to schools, the MTM Foundation seeks to ensure that all school-going children can attend classes with dignity and confidence, unaffected by the challenges of menstruation.

The partnership between the Betpawa Futsal Super League clubs and the MTM Foundation represents a significant step towards achieving this vision and promoting a more equitable and supportive community for girls and women in Mawokota county.
