Allan Okello, Paradou AC mutually part ways
Uganda Cranes attacking midfielder Allan Okello and Paradou AC have officially parted ways on mutual agreement.
Okello joined the Algerian side on an estimated fee of $200,000 equivalent to UGX 700M from KCCA FC in 2020.
However, Allan Okello has had a short spell at KCCA FC after extending his contract with AC Paradou and moved back to Algeria to complete his mission after the end of last season.
However, his planned move to Europe straight from Paradou is hanging in balance after a failed marriage.
“I want to express my gratitude to the Paradou AC for the journey we’ve had together.
After careful consideration, we have mutually agreed to terminate my contract.
This decision was not made lightly and it comes after extensive reflection on both my personal and professional aspirations.
I believe this is the right step for both parties and I’m excited for the next chapter in my career.
I want to thank the fans, my teammates and everyone at the club for the support throughout my time here.
I will always cherish the memories we’ve created together. Wishing the club continued success in future”. Reads the statement on Allan Okello’s official social media platform.
Okello announced himself to the Ugandan football at KCCA in 2017. During Mike Mutebi’s reign at the club who believe in young players, Okello was a regular in the KCCA FC line ups despite his age then.
His debut season came in 2017 and his KCCA FC career debut came on 27th February 2017 against Onduparaka FC.
He bagged a hat trick in the 7-1 humiliation to Onduparaka FC at Lugogo.
He then moved to the Algerian outfit on a four-year deal after featuring in 112 games at KCCA FC with 39 goals.
