The highly anticipated quarter-finals of the 2025 Masaza Cup are set to deliver thrilling matches, with eight teams vying for a spot in the semifinals.

The matchup between Mawokota and Ssingo is generating significant interest, with both teams boasting a rich history in the competition.

Mawokota, a three-time winner (2005, 2007, and 2013), will face off against Ssingo, a two-time champion (2015 and 2018).

Buluuli, the 2011 Masaza Cup champion, will take on Bugerere, who have never won the event in the tournament, while Bugerere seeks to make a breakthrough.

Ssese, a semifinalist in 2007 and 2008, will face Kyaggwe, who finished as runner-up in the 2024 Masaza Cup edition.

The quarter-finals will be played over two legs, with the first leg scheduled for September 27, 2025, and the return leg on October 4, 2025.
