Airtel Masaza cup: Bulemeezi management condemns fans hooliganism, Buwekula, Gomba register maiden wins

Week four of the prestigious Masaza Cup was shaded on positives and negatives as shocking results and emergency of new house powers prevail.
All games where played to full time whistle though at Some points fans acted weird.
A stubborn visiting Kyadondo handed Bulemeezi a third defeat of the campaign from its four (4) outing letting the host sitting on the bottom of Bulange group.
It was hard defeat to swallow by some of Bulemeezi fans who ended up launching an attacker towards the visiting fans and team officials.
From the attack, fights were witnessed, damaging of property like cars and grabbing of materials from Kyadondo fans.
In an exclusive interview with the Ssaza team CEO Andrew Mukisa Walakira condemned the acts of violence.
“We condemn the act of attacking fans from opposite team. Kyadondo scored a goal and their fans had to celebrate and in that, they did nothing wrong.
Attacking an innocent group of fans is an act of hooliganism and it indicates that some people are not coming to support football.
We are assuring them that in not too long they will have to pay for their acts and it will be individually”
Samuel Monday Kisozi and sweet lefter Isaac Ssenyunja scored in either halves to see Kyadondo recording a 2-0 win which is their Second of the campaign and the first on road.
The win left Kyadondo of 7 points just one adrift group leaders Bululi who played for a goalless draw with Noisy county Buddu.
In the same group Butambala and Bugerere played a 1-all draw on Saturday completing match-day four (4) with Bugerere and leveled with Kyadondo on 7 points.
Butambala and Buddu are also tied on 4 points while defending champion sits bottom with 3 points.
Elsewhere, Ssingo defeated Kyaggwe 2-0. However, the game also saw hooliganism act as fans threw objects to the pitch at different occasions.
Joseph Ssewaali scored in the 13th minute of play and later toward the end of first stanza got punched by Kyaggwe Goalkeeper Abdul Bagenda on the blind of referees side.
Ssingo got into first half interval leading by a 1-0 extending the lead to 2-0 seven minutes from the restart through Shaban Kayongo.
Both Ssewaali and Kayongo were netting their third goal of the campaign standing in as top scorers so far.
Aside Ssingo, Kyaggwe game in Muganzirwazza group Buwekula and Gomba also ended their waiting for win after three outings.
Buwekula defeated Mawogola 3-0 with a win taking Mubende based county to six (6) points after registering three (3) consecutive draws on three attempts.
It was the same weekend that saw record champions Gomba gets a 1-0 win over Kooki.
Ssingo is leading the group with 10 points, the most gathered by any side in this edition across all groups.
Kyaggwe sits second on 7 points with Mawogola and Buwekula tied on 6 points in third place while Gomba climbed from bottom to fifth place as Kooki sank.
In Masengere group there were only two games as Kabula beat Mawokota 1-0 while Ssese and Busujju game ended in a 1-1.
Kabula is leading the group with 9 points, Busujju is second on 8 points while Mawokota in the third place on 5 points.
In the same group, Buvuma is fourth on three points from 3 games. Buvuma are goalless but also yet to concede this season.
Ssese and Busiro are the team on the bottom of the log on 2 and 1 point respectively.
The competition returns on 26th and 27th weekend with 9 fixtures.
