USSSA Ball Games II: Bashir Edema shines as Kyadondo secures convincing win

The future of Ugandan football looks bright with talents like Bashir Edema, the skilled central midfielder from Kyadondo High School – Matugga, who continues to impress with his outstanding performances.
Edema was instrumental in Kyadondo’s 3-0 win over Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) at St. Peter’s College grounds in Tororo, scoring one of the goals and showcasing his exceptional game-reading skills and ability to direct the tempo of the game.

In the U16 boys’ football match, Kyadondo’s Joshua MuMusasiz, Joseph Kabila, and Bashir Edema each scored a goal, securing a convincing 3-0 victory over JIPRA.
Edema’s performance was particularly notable, as he demonstrated his tracking skills and ability to control the rhythm of the game right in the middle of the park.
His long range hard shot strike was the best highlight of the day. Technically taken and executed with the right power to hit the back of the net from 40 yards.
