USSSA reveals bidders for the five national championships
After opening up the bidding process on Thursday, the 12th September officially opened the bidding for interested schools to host or co-host national championships from 2024 to 2028.
The bidding is for the five national championships which include the Elite Secondary School Games, Secondary School National Ball Games One, Secondary School National Football Boys Championship.
Secondary School National Swimming Gala and Secondary School National Ball Games Two / Athletics / Mind Games are the other two.
For the past four years, the USSSA National Championships have been rotating in the different regions of the country.
The Western Region hosted in 2018, Eastern in 2019, 2020 and 2021 were halted by COVID-19 and did not take place.
The games resumed in 2022 in Northern, 2023 in the Western and Central region.
If it is a school’s turn to host and they fail due to unpreparedness or failure to be ready by inspection time, another school or region can take up the slot but remains eligible to host when its turn comes.

b. St. Mary’s College Rushorooza co-hosts Kigezi High School
4. Secondary School National Swimming Gala
Host:
a. Bukedea Comprehensive School
b. Seroma Christian High School
5. Secondary School National Ball Games II, Athletics, and Mind Games
Hosts:
a. St. Peters College, Tororo, co-hosts (Tororo Girls School)
b. Jinja Secondary School, co-hosts (Jinja College, Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA), and PMM Girls’ School)
