Mbale Heroes FC Patron Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi has rallied all Mbale people and well wishers to stand with their home team ahead of the 2024/25 Uganda Premier League season.

Mbale Heroes who bounced back to the top tier after nearly two decades will play top flight football this coming season with over 1.5B required to steer the team through the campaign.

“I call upon all Mbale people to unite and rally behind our team a head of the debut season after 19 years in lower divisions.

Corporate companies and well wishers should also join the cause as we look for a 1.5B, a tune to steer us through the season”. Nandala Mafabi.

The patron further extended his gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to the club’s promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

To raise the necessary funds, a fundraising event is scheduled for August 16th at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

The patron urged the public to attend the event in large numbers to support the team’s endeavors.

Nandala emphasized that this is the first of several fundraising initiatives to be undertaken by the club. He expressed optimism about the community’s support in propelling Mbale Heroes FC to greater heights.

Under tactician Simon Ddungu “aka” Dunga, Mbale Heroes confirmed they will play topflight football for the first time in 19 years. Mbale was relegated in 2005.

Mbale Heroes finished third on the FUFA Big League table with 49 points.

They joined table leaders Police FC and Lugazi into next season’s Uganda Premier league.
