Rays of Grace Junior School advanced to the Semi finals of Uganda Primary Schools Sports Association (UPSSA) ongoing at Uganda Christian University in Mukono.

Rays of Grace Junior School won 2-1 against Jesjonny Primary School in the quarter-finals.

Atim Muwanguzi converted from the spot to equalize for Rays before Amos Molu scored the wining goal

In the round of 16, Rays of Grace Junior School eliminated Nyakashambya in a 6-0 landslide win.

Meanwhile, Seeta Junior School won (04) – (02) over The Cranes Junior School Lugazi to reach last four.

Ali Memorial Islamic Primary School Bundibugyo advanced to the semi-final stage with a 1-0 win against Bukhaukha PS.

In the last quarter-final , OASIS Boarding and Day PS Arua City was knocked out in a 2 – 05 penalty shoots in the advantage of Mukono Junior School.

The normal play ended goalless.

In the semi-finals, Rays of Grace will take on Mukono Junior while Ali Memorial Islamic Primary School lock horns with Seeta Junior.

The championship also doubles as Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Association qualifiers whose finals are set for next month at Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College in Bukedea.
