The Egyptian Football Association confirmed that fans will be allowed to attend Egypt’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers clash against Senegal.

The Pharaohs will be aiming to secure their second World Cup qualification in a row when they face Senegal in the play-offs.

However, the task will not be easy as the AFCON title-holders proved to be a force to be reckoned with.

To motivate the Egyptian national team, EFA member Helmi Mashhour confirmed that fans will be allowed in the first leg taking place in Egypt.

“Our country wants the World Cup qualification, we will try to provide everything Queiroz needs,” Mashhour said.

“Queiroz said he wants the game to take place at Cairo International Stadium, so we got the permission for it.”

“We are also trying to get the permission for the maximum number of fans allowed to attend the game. For now, a minimum of 50,000 fans will be allowed,” he added.
