The 2023 edition of the Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) championship has hit final stage.
The Semi-final ties were held at Kosovo Grounds in Luweero, Kasana on Saturday, 2nd of September.
Kampala Galaxy Soccer Academy beat Budondo Soccer Academy to become the first team to book a slot in the final following their 7-6 penalties win.
The two sides played for a goalless draw in the normal time before they were separated by spot kicks.

Kampala Galaxy Soccer Academy reached semis after beating Spot the Talent by 1-0 in the second quarter-final of the day.

In the last semi-final of the championship, Rays of Grace Academy and the host team Della Tore played for a goalless draw.
The game finally ended 5-4 after penalties in favor of the home side Della Tore Soccer Academy.
It was a 4-1 penalties win for Della Tore against Volf Soccer Academy in the third (3rd) quarter-final to storm semi-final.
The normal play ended goalless as both sides failed to find the back of the net.
In the final game of the quarter-final stage, Rays of Grace through a Dissan Mwebe strike beat Mentor International Sports Academy by 1-0 to seal semi-final slot.
