The 2023 edition, which is the second of its kind, was due to be held on 12th – 17th December at Mbarara High School under Mbarara DFA, Western Region.
According to the document released on Wednesday, 6th December 2023, Uganda Youth Football Associations apologized to the public for any inconveniences caused and confirmed the new dates.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to proceed with the championship as planned. It has been a difficult decision to make, but we had no option but to postpone this championship.”
“We are truly sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause you. I want to assure you that this was not an easy decision to make, and we would have much loved to seal off the competition before the year ends.”
“We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.”
“A decision has been taken, and the championship has been rescheduled to 15th – 20th January 2024 at the same venue. We will keep you informed of any updates in line to the same”.
