USSSA Ball Games I Girls’ Football Draws held, Holders Kawempe,  favourite St. Noa land soft opponents

The 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Ball Games I girls’ football draws have been held at the USSSA Offices, featuring a star-studded lineup of guests, including FUFA CEO Edgar Watson Suubi and football legends Mustapha Kiiza and Sandrah Nabweteme.

This year’s tournament promises to be an exciting event, with 64 teams competing in 16 groups of four teams each.

Defending champions Kawempe Muslim Secondary School will start their title defense in Group A, facing competition from Katikamu SS, Taggy High School, and Jinja Comprehensive School.

Rines SS, the first runners-up last year, will look to improve their last year’s performance in Group P, where they will face Highland High School, Jinja SS, and Kabwin Seed School.

Meanwhile, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana, one of the favorites to win the tournament, will begin their journey in Group H against Highway Kiganda and Lammenais College.

The tournament will be hosted by Bukedea Comprehensive from April 4th to 15th at various venues.

The full draw is as follows:

Group A: Jinja Comprehensive School, Katikamu SDA, Taggy High School, Kawempe Muslim

Group B: Binyinyi SS, Bishop Comboni, Maracha Domestic, King of Kings

Group C: Mary’s Magdalene, Lugazi Homestone, Bubangizi SS, Bunya SS

Group D: Nkoma SS, MM College, Kashenshero Girls, Sacred Heart SS

Group E: Masindi Army, Kinoni High School, Uganda Martyrs, Latifah Mixed SS

Group F: Hopeful Future, Kangole Girls, Moyo Star SS, London College

Group G: Shamah High School, Jinja Progressive, Riverside High School, Aiden College

Group H: Late Comer, Highway Kiganda, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana, Lammenais College

Group I: Gaddafi Intergrated, Fairway High School, Amus College, MarryHill High School

Group J: Serere SS, Bugisu High School, Mukono Kings, Kisozi Seed School

Group K: Bukedea Comprehensive, Francis Ayume Memorial, Gulu High School, Kamonkoli Seed School

Group L: Acaba SS, Boni Consilii, Tororo Girls, Newton SS

Group M: Restore Leadership, Sheema Girls, Kongunga High School, Kapchorwa SS

Group N: Masaka SS, Kibingo Girls, STAHIZA, Koro SS

Group O: Nyabubare SS, Kangulumira Public, Moonville Vocational, St. Charles Lwanga
