UPL: Express out for revenge as they take on arch-rivals SC Villa
The season’s second Kampala Derby will take place at Muteesa II Stadium-Wankulukuku in one of the biggest matches of the year for the Red Eagles.
Express FC face local rivals SC Villa in a crucial Startimes Uganda Premier League match. The Red Eagles have faltered nine matches registering no positive results and they will be putting everything toward a Derby win on Sunday, 5th March 2023.
“We lost the first Derby this season and we’ve have worked on all our mistakes in the previous games to see that we overturn the results.”
“However we have a few injuries but that won’t deter us, the rest of the squad can handle the game well. Not been a good run to us but with the fan’s support this time round, we will get the positive results,” Express FC head coach James Odoch said.
This is an absolutely massive game for both sides due to the history and local bragging rights, the Red Eagles will have to show that they are the better side in order to get the job done.
Daniel Shabene and Ivan Mayanja will have to pass a late fitness test while captain Isa Lumu is out due to a knee Injury.
