UFL: Uganda Martyrs University edge Kampala University in Nkozi

Moses Kakooza and Sunny Kaija scored in the  27th and 88th minute respectively, to earn Uganda Martyrs University a 2-0 win over Kampala University in the Pepsi University Football League game played in Nkozi today Thursday.

Victory for UMU ensured that they have avenged their 2-1 first leg loss away to the Ggaba based university.

It also meant that all the four teams in Group E are tied on six points.

Goal difference separates the four teams in Group E after four games each.

UMU is top followed by Ndejje University, Gulu University, and KU are positioned third and fourth respectively.

Action in the University Football League will continue on Friday with a Group C fixture between Bishop Stuart University and Kyambogo University in Mbarara at 3pm
