The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) is gearing up to host the prestigious 2025 Uganda Open Table Tennis Championship, scheduled to take place from December 6th to 7th at Kabojja International School, Kampala.
In a significant boost to the event, SurePay Limited, a leading provider of digital and financial solutions in Uganda, has partnered with UTTA as the title sponsor.

The table tennis fraternity in Uganda is fresh from the Jinja Open, and the team has also been busy on the international scene, participating in several high-profile tournaments, including the World U-12 Hope Championship in Sheffield, UK, the 2025 ITTF Africa Seniors Championship in Tunis, Tunisia, and the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Uganda’s female pairing of Parvin Judith Nangonzi and Jemimah Nakawala brought home a bronze medal from the Islamic Solidarity Games, a testament to the country’s growing prowess in the sport.
