SUPL: ‘We need to make it very difficult for Vipers’ – Byekwaso
KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso has told his players to fight hard and make it difficult for Vipers SC ahead of their game.
The Kasasiro Boys host Vipers SC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Saturday evening.
The fixture is one of the two games in hand KCCA FC has got to play.
KCCA FC are second on the Uganda Premier League table with 46 points and lie nine points behind leaders Vipers SC who have 55 points from 23 games.
“It will definitely be a tough game. We know we have the home advantage and we have to use it. They are coming to our home and we need to make it very difficult for them here,” Byekwaso said before adding.
“We were close in the first leg and they snatched a point at the end of the game but that is in the past. They are table leaders and have a nine point gap, we know if we are to cut their lead then we have to win against them,” he added.
Vipers SC were 3-0 winners against URA FC, away in the previous league game while KCCA FC shared spoils with Arua Hill SC in the previous league game.
Vipers has won 17 games, shared spoils four times and lost twice so far this season. KCCA FC on the other hand have won 12 games, shared spoils 10 times and have one loss this term.
Both sides shared spoils in the reverse fixture in a two-all stalemate at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
