SUPL: Arua Hill visits Gaddafi in search for a third victory
Arua Hill Sports Club will travel to Jinja to take on Gaddafi FC in their next Startimes Uganda Premier League assignment.
The Leopards will entertain the Soldier Boys on Friday 19th November 2021 at Gaddafi Barracks.
It will be Arua Hill’s their fifth game of the season and will be looking to register their third win of the campaign.
Now sixth on the standings with seven points, Arua Hill head into this particular encounter on the back of a 3-2 win against Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club.
Samuel Ssekamate bagged a magical brace while Alfred Leku added the match winner as Arua Hill SC rallied from two goals down to complete an impressive comeback victory.
Cromwell Rwothomio and Kabon Living bagged consolation goals for Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club as they were condemned to their first league defeat of the season by the Leopards.
Gaddafi FC meanwhile registered a single win, two draws and two defeats from their previous five matches and are currently rooted in the 10th place of the log with five points after five games.
The Soldier Boys are back in action after playing to a 2-2 stalemate against Uganda Peoples Defense Football Club in their previous encounter at Bombo Barracks Play ground.
Friday’s fixture will be the the third encounter between the two clubs.
It will also be the first meeting in history since both teams got promoted to the top-tier league.
The two side met twice in the Startimes FUFA Big League last season and settled for two draws having played to a 2-2 draw at Barifa Stadium in the first leg and a goalless draw at Kyabazinga stadium in the return match.
