Today, the highly anticipated draws for the championship were held, and as expected, the three-time consecutive winners have been placed in Group A, where they will face strong competition from Twinbrook, Janan, and Late Comer 1.

St. Noa Junior Boarding School – Zana’s unmatched success in the previous three editions of the championship has firmly established them as the team to beat.

The school’s remarkable winning streak has captured the attention of sports enthusiasts across the region, and the 2026 edition is no different.

As the tournament is set to begin on 11th March, expectations are high for St. Noa to continue their dominance, but with other strong teams in the mix, it promises to be an exciting challenge.

The draws revealed a tough and competitive landscape for the teams, with St. Noa set to face familiar foes in Group A.

Their opponents—Twinbrook, Janan, and Late Comer 1—will be looking to end St. Noa’s incredible run, but the defending champions have shown time and again that they know how to handle the pressure.

This year’s tournament has attracted 12 teams, drawn into four groups of four, which sets the stage for a dramatic competition.

Group B features St. Mary’s, Muteesa II Junior, Citizen Parents, and Late Comer 2, while Group C includes Pendo Christian, Bright Future, Good Times, and Late Comer 3.

Group D is no less competitive, with Sir Apollo Kagwa, St. Jude, and Nobble Stars aiming to make a mark alongside Late Comer 4.

As the defending champions, St. Noa Boarding Junior School – Zana’s performance will be closely watched throughout the tournament.

Their previous victories have been the result of strategic play, strong teamwork, and a winning mentality—traits that they will need to rely on as they begin their quest for a fourth consecutive title.

The tournament will run from March 11th to 15th at Kawanda Secondary School, and the road to the championship is expected to be a challenging yet rewarding journey for the players and coaches alike.
