Bank rolled by Jubilee Insurance with UGX. 30,000,000 million, Uganda has sent a contingent of 60 cyclists to the 2024 Grand Nairobi Race.
The cyclists have been flagged off this Friday morning, the 27th September at Sanyuka Restaurant at Mengo palace in Kampala.
Travelling by road using bus, the team will leave the country this afternoon to take part in the Sunday event and they will return to the country on Monday.
“As Jubilee Insurance, we are excited to be part of this journey.
We are planning to create a program for our workers to join cycling because it matches with our newly launched fitness app maishafiti.
We want to make life different by supporting the sportsmen

The championship is to attract all East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and other notable cycling countries in Europe.
This serves to be the 4th edition of the Grand Nairobi Race but second time for Jubilee to send participants after their debut 2021.
Lance Ismael Ssebayiga is the leaders of delegation. The whole team is composed of 100 riders but will travel in two batches.
The competition shall host four categories in Elite which is the main race of 60KM and female race (60KM).
The other categories include the Fun category (40 km) and Black Mamba 48km.
One of the Elite Cyclists Aziz Ssempijja who doubles as captain and coach player expresses his readiness ahead of the race.
“I’m in good shape to compete. This is one of the biggest events in the sport. Every cyclist in Africa pride in take part in the Grand Nairobi Race and my ambitions is to write history at this year’s edition”. Aziz Ssempijja of Kawempe Cycling Club.
