The stage is now primed for exhilarating clashes in the Pepsi University Football League after the quarterfinal draw was held Friday at Kati Kati Restaurant.

The event was presided over by Martha Soigi, in the company of Obal Atubo and Anthony Tumwesigye.

The eight teams were placed into two pots, with Pot A consisting of the best-performing group winners, while Pot B accommodated three runners-up and the lowest-ranked group winner.

Kampala University, Muteesa I Royal University, Ndejje University, and YMCA Comprehensive formed Pot A, while St Lawrence University, Kumi University, Uganda Martyrs University, and Bugema University were drawn into Pot B.

Teams from Pot B will host the opening legs.

Two-time champions Kampala University, who finished unbeaten atop Group A with 13 points, have been paired with Bugema University.

Holders Uganda Martyrs University will battle Muteesa I Royal University in a heated Masaka Road derby.

Elsewhere, St Lawrence University meet Ndejje University in a repeat of last year’s quarterfinal, as Kumi University face YMCA Comprehensive.

First legs will be played from Tuesday to Friday next week, with return fixtures slated for the following week.
