Police FC secures an emphatic victory over BUL in Uganda Premier League

Police FC registered a well-deserved 3-1 victory against BUL FC in the Uganda Premier League encounter at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Tuesday.

The win takes Police to third position with 21 points in 11 games, while BUL lies 12th with 10 points in 11 games, having gone six games without a victory.

The Cops dominated the game, with Dennis Kalanzi squandering an early chance to put them ahead.

However, Juma Ikamba broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, firing the visitors ahead thanks to Richard Matovu’s delivery from the left flank.

Abdul Karim Ndugwa levelled matters for BUL in the 29th minute, but Police regained the lead in the 87th minute through Daniel Jakoni’s strike, set up by Saidi Kyeyune.

The match concluded with Brian Obed hitting the last nail in BUL’s coffin in added time, securing a dominant victory for Police.

The result marks a much-needed boost for the Cops, who had been struggling with inconsistent performances.

Meanwhile, BUL will be disappointed with their performance, having drawn twice and suffered four straight defeats in their last six games.
