Soroti Challengers will be taking on former Champions Pioneer Cricket Club at the lakeside oval as both sides look for their second win in week four of the women’s T20 league.

Soroti Challengers overcame Tornado Bee for their 1st win of the season and will be looking for maximum points against Pioneer if they to keep pressure on run away leaders Aziz Damani.

Pioneer’s only win this season so far has come against Tornado Bee as well but the former champions will be out for blood as the sides battle at the Lakeside Oval.

The experience of Kevin Awino, Naomi Kayondo, Janet Mbabazi and Evelyn Anyipo made the difference on the day for Soroti Challengers last weekend and they will be pivotal for the club if they are to get good results.

Pioneer will be looking at Barbara Mukankusi, Carol Namugenyi plus their Kenyan imports Queentor Abel and Daisy Wairumu for inspiration if they are to pick up their second win of the season.

Tornado Bee are the only side yet to win at least a game in the T20 league, and they will need something special if they are going overcome the youthful Olila Cricket Club.

Olila who were finalists in the women’s T20 league last year will be counting on the agility of youth to take them past Tornado Bee.

Weekend Matches:
1. Tornado Bee v Olila Cricket Club – Lugogo 10am
2. Pioneer Cricket Club v Soroti Challengers – Entebbe 10am
