Eastern Region Football Association  (ERFA) has banned Mbale Heroes FC team official Musazi Baker and Goalkeeper Mohamadi “Didi” Kasule over misconduct

Musazi has been banned  from attending six (6) matches, with effect from the start of Eastern Region League second round.

According to Chairperson ERFA Competitions Committee Isaac Mpanso, Musazi went  to the bench of Busia Young Stars FC, picked their balls and kicked them out and one ball got lost in the process as the two sides faced off in Uganda Cup preliminary round.

Mbale Heroes has also been fined UGX. 200,000 and ordered to buy the lost  ball for Busia Young Stars FC.

In the case, Mbale Heroes goalkeeper Didi has  been given a three match ban for misconduct for reportedly attacking a  match official in a league game between Busia United and Mbale Heroes FC.

The ban will also be effective at the beginning the second round.

Busia Fisheries FC is also fined UGX. 200,000 after one of their officials reportedly attacked a referee during their league game against  Mbale Garage FC.

Failure to pay the fines by penalized sides will lead to point  deduction according to Mpanso.

Meanwhile, Second round of the Eastern Region League tentatively kicks off on 28th February 2023 as per the unanimous agreement between team representatives and ERFA officials during their meeting held on Sunday 12th February 2023 at Mbale City Stadium.

In 2nd round,  there will only be  one Match Day event per week.
