In a commanding display at Lugazi on Tuesday evening, Maroons sealed a well‑deserved 3‑0 victory in the Uganda Premier League.

The Prison Wardens opened the scoring within the first two minutes when Raymond Walugembe powered home a header, courtesy of Emmanuel Obua’s swift buildup.

Midway through the second half, Jackson Nunda doubled the lead with a beautiful finish, fed by Walugembe four minutes after the hour mark.

The first half closed with Maroons holding a comfortable 2‑0 advantage.

With just three minutes left, Ivan Asaba added the final touch, icing the cake and cementing a perfect day for the home side.

The win lifts Maroons to 12th place with eight points, while Lugazi drop to 10th, holding nine points after seven matches.
