Kitara Vs Express FC: Bbosa keen on extending unbeaten run
High flying Express FC will play struggling Kitara FC in match-day 11 of Uganda Premier league at Kavumba recreational grounds in Wakiso on Tuesday 2nd March 2021.
The Red Eagles have three wins in their previous three fixtures against BUL FC (4-0), MYDA FC (4-1) and a home win against Wakiso Giants (3-0) scoring thirteen times and conceding once in the process.
Wasswa Bbosa is Keen on maintaining his unbeaten run and winning each game at a time despite a thik and fast coming schedule.
“We are back at it again, the games are coming in thick and fast and honestly load management is key.
The boys know the task ahead. Keep the unbeaten intact but most importantly take it one game at a time.
Kitara won’t be an easy opponent but we have prepared well and we shall take the game as it comes.
I look at this game as another opportunity for the team to pick up more maximum points.
We have prepared well and the focus is on winning. We know we have other teams breathing down our necks on the table but we are only worried about doing our job and we are not complacent at all.” Bbosa told Express FC official website.
Express FC and Kitara FC will be meeting for the first time in the Uganda premier league.
However, both sides have met in the Uganda cup twice with the Kitara beating Express FC on both occasions.
Express FC have gone 10 games unbeaten a record they hold with Vipers SC this season and sit 2nd on the table with 22 points only one behind leaders Vipers SC.
On the other hand, newbies Kitara have accumulated only one point from 10 games. Kitara currently occupy the 15th place on a 16 team log and a goal difference of 4 separates it from bottom occupants MYDA FC.
Express FC’s tactician Wasswa Bossa has a fully fit squad to choose from against Kitara on Tuesday with only winger Godfrey Lwesibawa absent due to suspension after accumulating three yellow cards.
Kitara’s last engagement ended in a 4-0 defeat to the 13 time champions KCCA FC at Lugogo while Express FC humbled Wakiso 3-0 at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
