Kenya Commercial Bank’s selection for this year’s WRC Safari Rally proved spot-on.

Ahead of the event, KCB lined up its chosen drivers from the East African region, led by two-time African champion Karan Patel.

Beyond the big sponsorship sums, the bank set aside about 27 million Kenya shillings to back four drivers—Kenyans Karan Patel and Nikhil Sachania, Uganda’s Oscar Ntambi, and Rwanda’s Queen Kalimpinya—under the “Revvisha” campaign.

The investment paid off when they conquered the world’s toughest rally with three category winners.

Patel won the main African Rally Championship (ARC) class and was Kenya’s top driver in the WRC2 classification, finishing 17th overall.

Sachania also manoeuvred through the demanding routes to win his class, giving KCB three winners in total.
